Croydon College selects EvaSys Survey Automation Suite
London UK - 15 October 2010.
Electric Paper Limited, the world leader in course evaluation for Higher and Further Education, today announced that Croydon College, South London, have chosen EvaSys Survey Automation Suite to manage all their survey processes. The industry-leading web based system replaces their legacy in-house paper data capture system. EvaSys will allow the college to manage both online and paper-based surveys on a unified platform.
Croydon College will use EvaSys to conduct their overall course evaluations, as well as other marketing and staff related survey projects. For example, cross-college satisfaction surveys, student experience surveys, open day surveys and targeted quality surveys reflecting on the curriculum.
Croydon College had identified significant limitations and inefficiencies with their legacy optical read system for paper. These limitation were hightened by the requirement to cut costs and maintain quality with a smaller staff. Croydon College looked at various ways in which they could further improve their survey administration, both in terms of efficiency and quality. The hybrid approach that is unique to EvaSys allowed them to conduct and report on both online and paper, driving high response rates and instant feeback reporting in the most effiecient way.
“As a leading College in the field of Learner Involvement the views of our students are paramount in all that we do. This, combined with increased statutory requirements, led the College to look for an innovative new way to collect feedback on a large scale, both by paper survey and online. Experience shows in the education field that paper surveys currently achieve the highest response rate. The flexibility offered by EvaSys to be able to handle both forms of response meant it stood out from the crowd –just like the College!” Eleanor Cunningham, Head of Performance and Standards.
“We are honoured to have been selected to partner with Croydon College to further their strategic quality initiatives. As one of South London’s biggest and best colleges, it is truly a great privilege.” Eric Bohms, Managing Director of Electric Paper Ltd.
Their first large-scale project with EvaSys, the start-of-year survey for some 13,000 students, will be conducted early next month.
