Electric Paper announce the latest version of EvaSys V5.0 including full support for tablet and smart phone surveys
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM—July 28, 2011
Electric Paper Limited today announced EvaSys Survey Management Suite V5.0 is now available and shipping. EvaSys V5.0 provides users with powerful and efficient management of course and module survey projects for educational environments. Now it is up to 60 times faster for online surveys and allows for the use of tablet and smart phones.
Electric Paper customers are currently upgrading to take advantage of new features that help them better manage institution wide course and module evaluations such as:
- Multimodal surveys - paper, online and mobile. EvaSys was the world's first EFM solution where paper-based surveys and online surveys was given equal consideration within a central web-based data model and linked it to the highest possible degree of automation. Version 5.0 now comes with fully automatic support to mobile devices like smart phones and tablet PC’s.
- Enhanced SOAP API functions and advanced scripting hooks make it even easier for developers to integrate EvaSys. This benefits both customers and the Electric Paper's own Professional Services group, which can now build more powerful integrations into SIS, VLE or CRM applications in less time.
- VividForms Designer add-on with multi-column paper questionnaires design, landscape mode and free design, allowing for more content compression on a single sheet.
“Electric Paper is the first to provide truly hybrid multi-mode course and module survey automation for higher and further education,” said Lars Riemenschneider, Managing Director, Electric Paper GmbH. “Since EvaSys launched in 2002, customers around the world have benefited from the continued innovation and increased functionality created as a direct result of feedback from our active community of users—proving that Electric Paper is listening and that they have made the right decision in implementing EvaSys.”
Electric Paper’s EvaSys software manages course and module projects for large-scale infrastructures and highly secure environments. Its flexible architecture adapts easily to run in virtualized environments, or within low-cost, high-density hardware systems.
“Today we’re delivering a solution to efficiently and cost-effectively manage globally distributed survey administration projects. Therefore, accelerating the ‘in class’ capture of student feedback to drive higher response rates. Which, in turn, allows organisations to quickly tie the student experience to improvement of teaching and learning and organisational development strategy,” said Eric Bohms, Managing Director at Electric Paper Ltd.
