Completed questionnaires are collected and the data automatically acquired at a central scanning station with just one mouse click, via a duplex document feed scanner. All checked fields are read automatically, and open comments and suggestions are cut out by the software and pasted into the database. This means that even large numbers of questionnaires can be acquired automatically within a few minutes. For particularly sensitive surveys, it is possible to view and, where necessary, itemize the open comments (de-identification). A visual inspection and correction can also be used to search for duplicate crosses (verification). In a network of clinics, EvaSys qm|Clinica can be set up so that each building has its own document scanner, but all buildings have a central web database.

Instant report
A few seconds after scanning in, an immediate report is generated, displaying an overview of all the questions asked in the form of histograms, bars and line diagrams and – where practical – with standard deviation and mean values (or medians and quartiles). Responses to open questions are listed as image extracts or sorted by questions and itemized categories.
