The expansion for EvaSys, Sphinx Plus², can be used for finding more meaningful correlations and performing multivariate data analysis, or even for the textual analysis of open questions. This statistics workbench enables the optional creation of reports, cross-classified tables and diagrams. It is possible to create hypothesis diagrams, tree diagrams, or factor analysis in no time at all. Sphinx’s special feature is its simple, explorative handling of data material. The EvaSys server prepares reports or single surveys for evaluation as Sphinx files. These files contain the completed questions, value labels, and raw data. Sphinx then enables the data, even SPSS compatible, to be stored or read. Sphinx statistics is in use in some 7,000 organisations worldwide, and in France is the SPSS market leader in a college context.
