The system variant ‘central evaluation’ is by far the most successful model in the EvaSys product family. It shows the essence of the evaluation procedure in more than 60 colleges in the German speaking world.
The centrally applied evaluation process is characterized by the following characteristics:
- Cost efficiency
A central location handles hundreds of surveys with a minimum time input. The central generation of (personalised) questionnaires enables a simultaneous minimization of printing costs. - Comparability
The procedure treats all courses the same, but consideration is given to subject specific areas and particular course formats. By using predetermined questionnaire components, it is possible to generate significant average values for subject areas or programs of study, in which single courses can be compared. - Automation
The communication between the EvaSys evaluation staff and the instructors is largely automated. It is possible for the teaching staff to expand the content of their questionnaires without having to be acquainted with the software. - Professionalism
The form processing solutions, Teleform and VividForms, guarantee the highest quality of form design and data. As Electric Paper has worked with hundreds of projects in the domain of the mass processing of documents over many years, you have a highly experienced firm on your side. - Flexibility
Thanks to a wide variety of assisted procedures, you can tune the processes to your individual requirements. Do the instructors print or does the control center? Who sends the student access codes for online surveys? Are the handwritten commentaries made anonymous? What rights of inspection do the deans have? Etc… - The ability to decentralize
With EvaSys you define the degree of centralization yourself. For interested instructors you can therefore activate individual instructor accounts, in which questionnaires can be developed and surveys can be carried out completely independently of the central office. Also the creation of reports can be decentralized to subject area level. The possibility for expansion using mandates even permits the construction of a fully self-sufficient subsystem, in which every subject area has its own independent evaluation process.
