Typical applications in education
EvaSys Education is currently responsible for a variety of survey projects within education. In addition to the core application of course evaluation many other surveys are also carried out. Surveys can be online or paper-based, anonymous or non-anonymous.
|
- Course evaluation: Participants feedback of different types of courses (lectures, seminars, laboratory exercises, events, e-learning modules, etc.). Events can be connected to programmes or modules through meta-data. Events can be defined by a time frame allowing for trend analysis.
- Event evaluation, public image: Feedback on specific events (open days, teacher training days etc.)
- Module evaluation: EvaSys Education supports the evaluation of modules with shared or mixed events and various lecturers, a common requirement in Bachelor's and Master's courses.
- Alumni surveys: Graduates and alumni can be a great source of feedback. How would they evaluate their university, programme or course in terms of practicality? In this context, online surveys are often used, as participants are not directly accessible.
| | - Employee surveys: A natural complement to the evaluation of the student experience is to relate and compare results to staff satisfaction. Multiple connected stakeholder groups can be related and compared.
- Independent surveys: User accounts can be made available to individual participants, so that they have the opportunity to design questionnaires and evaluate them individually. This gives many more possibilities, for example, in the context of professional, graduate and doctoral theses.
- Multiple-choice exams: With the additional EvaExam solution paper-based multiple-choice exams can be easily created. Aptitude and study tests are also possible as an evaluation function for written tasks.
