Phase 3: Data capturing
Completed questionnaires are collected and the data is automatically captured at a cental scanning station with just one mouse click, via a duplex document feed scanner.
All checked fields are read automatically, and open comments or suggestions are captured as images by the software and stored in the database. This means that even large numbers of questionnaires can be captured automatically within a few minutes.
For particularly sensitive surveys, it is possible to view and, where necessary, anonomise the open comments (de-identification).
A visual inspection and correction can also be used to search for duplicate entry (verification).
In a network of clinics, EvaSys Healthcare can be set up so that each building has its own document scanner that are connected to a central web database.
