Add-on toolsets for M-Files - The next level.
M-Power CORE is the first of more to come add-on toolsets for M-Files consisting of six kits that you never want to miss again. Easy, understandable – just like M-Files.
Print + Archive | Clientside tool
Print right into your M-Files and automatically assign Metadata.
The PDF printer driver creates high quality PDF output giving you full control of the document class and meta data assignment. The smart functionality allows automated document and metadata processing. Any application that creates print output can now directly print into the M-Files EIM solution. Print+Archive transparently displays the key-value pairs, enables manual entries and provides a preview prior to storing the PDF in your vault.
Alert + Notify | Clientside tool
Never again miss your assignments - even in multiple vaults.
Not every user keeps M-Files launched, logged in and open all day long. Alert+Notify monitors your assignments and notifies you, with the option to dismiss or snooze the task for 5, 10, 30 minutes or a day – just like you are used to with Outlook. A cool functionality is the MS Outlook and CAL export. With one-button-click, you can move the M-Files task to your calendar.
Click + Find | Clientside tool
The missing tool to easily link M-Files to any(!) third party application
Create Hot keys for M-Files that trigger defined actions. Sometimes it is not that easy integrate M-Files into legacy windows “green screen” terminal applications as AS400, IBM Mainframe, Unix-Shell Applications. Sometimes you just want to look up a value from an Excel-Sheet.
Click+Find provides the missing link to easily integrate M-Files with any legacy application whithout programming. It is a transient program that listens to defined keyboard shortcuts and executes commands such as search/edit/create. This way you can extract eg. customer contact data from your CRM or ERP dialogue also if it is not directly connected to M-Files.
MetaData Extension Kit | Serverside
Programmatically control Metadata extraction when Metadata already exists within the file
Whenever you import documents into M-Files, you typically tag them with all kinds of properties. Usually this is a manual task. But what if the documents already contain the metadata within the file? Then you need a programmatic approach to extract, modify and map the metadata stored within the file. This is what the MetaData Extension Kit does.
Today it already extracts data from JPEG and PDF images, more is to come! The .NET API contains several methods that allow Creation, Reading, Updating and Deletion (CRUD) of EXIF, IPTC and XMP metadata information in order to use the data for much more, e.g. to create URL commands or use web services to leverage geolocation data, to view maps or transform geolocation data into a postal address.
Views2Object | Serverside
Tool to create new Objects (assignments, tasks) from views
This powerful command line tool can be used stand alone, programmatically or together with the windows task scheduler, allowing you to execute a query as defined M-Files view. All line items and defined columns can be accessed and mapped to another object, which is then created. For example, you could create assignments or work-orders from a view.
Views2Excel | Serverside
Tool to let M-Files create Excel sheets with defined views.
Another powerful tool to transfer content of one or multiple views into an Excel document as separate worksheet, using predefined Excel analysis or dashboarding templates. This gives you the full power of Excel to summarize and sort the data in pivot tables and charts or use the formatting to add logos, colors and fonts to prepare it for presentation or print.
